I didn’t read anything in May so I was glad to be able to get into a few books in June. Mostly I read books that I got from Net Galley to review.
Single Dads Club by Therese Beharrie was such a good read. I love this author and was glad to be diving into another one of her books. Cute little romance set in a small town. I wrote a review here.
Can’t Let Her Go by Kianna Alexander was the next book I read. It was a friends-to-lovers romance and sapphic. Definitely a winning combination. My review is here.
Second Time’s The Charm by Brenda Jackson pulled me in from the very first page. I haven’t read enough books by this author but every one I have read has sucked me in right away. This was a really cute second-chance romance. Check out my review here.
Her Secret Billionaire by Yahrah St. John was the last book I reviewed in June. It was part of a series I started and was glad to be able to get back into. He asks her out, and she says yes, then he gets attacked and has amnesia as a result. But he remembers her. I really enjoyed this book. My review of it is here.
To round out the month, I read all three books in my These Women series. It turns 10 this year and I plan on doing something special. I enjoy visiting with these characters. They are some of my favorites.
July happens to be Jenkins July so I hope to read at least two books by Beverly Jenkins that I haven’t read before. *fingers crossed*
