I struggled with focusing on reading this month. Audiobooks saved my life. Didn’t get as many books in as I wanted but I enjoyed every book that I did read.
Always and Forever by Beverly Jenkins
Ms. Bev’s books always bring me so much joy. Having heard about the caravan of mail order brides from another of her books, I was glad to read the story of how it all happened. This story warmed my heart. Grace and Jackson were wonderful characters. Got a little history lesson as well, which I come to expect from a Ms. Bev book.
Wins & Losses by Alexandra Warren
Nasir and Carmen were great. This is one of my favorite authors and her books never let me down.
Love, Lies, & Cherry Pie by Jackie Lau
Mark and Emily had a good story. This was a fake dating story. I’m growing to enjoy that trope. Here is my review.
Peachtree Cove Series
The Secret to a Southern Wedding by Synithia Williams
About Last Night by Synithia Williams
Waiting for Friday Night by Synithia Williams
I was reviewing the third book in this series and needed to read the first two because that is just something that I do. I was glad I did. It got me settled into the small town life. I got to know many of the characters. I really enjoyed this series and can’t wait for the next book. Here is my review.
Only For The Week by Natasha Bishop
Janelle and Rome were wonderful. I had been waiting to read this book for a while and I am so glad that I finally got to it. It was everything I wanted and more. Definitely had me yelling SEXUAL CHOCOLATE when I finished.
The Madaris Family Saga
Slow Burn by Brenda Jackson
Taste of Passion by Brenda Jackson
I’m still digging my way through this series. I am enjoying this family and their friends so much.
The 7-10 Split by Karmen Lee
Sapphic friends to enemies to colleagues to lovers romance. I enjoyed this book. It was cute. Here is my review.
Clarity by Christina C Jones
I got to read this chapter by chapter as part of CCJ’s Patreon group. I enjoyed this series and was on edge waiting for each chapter to post. I really enjoyed this story and wish I could read more from this world.
A Little Kissing Between Friends by Chencia C. Higgins
I enjoy Chencia’s writing and have been waiting for this book since it was announced. It was really good. Here is my review.
A Little Bit of Love by Synithia Williams
This was a cute little book. I enjoyed it a lot. Here is my review.
These Women Book Five by Turtleberry
My latest release. I love the Davis family so much. It was great visiting with them again. This may be the last book in the series.
It was a good but light reading month. Hope to get into more books next month. Almost at my goal for the year so I’ll likely be upping it in June. So far we are at 96 of the 111 I set for my goal.
