Vanna was ready to celebrate her birthday month when her entire world came crashing down. Everything was going wrong, starting with having to identify her estranged husband’s body at the morgue.
She goes on, even after being arrested and charged with a crime related to her husband, to try and celebrate her birth month. She even reconnects with an old friend from college.
Life keeps throwing punches at Vanna and she keeps trying to keep her head up and weather the storm. She only hopes she will still be standing when it is all said and done.
I really enjoyed this book. Vanna was such an interesting character. She was very relatable. I was very glad to see her working towards her happy ending.
I got this book from Net Galley but ended up getting the audiobook after it was released. I’m really glad I did.
