Ten Movies I’ll Watch On Repeat Forever And Always

The original exercise was to pick five movies, but I couldn’t narrow it down that low. So here are ten movies I could watch on repeat until the end of time.

THESE ARE IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER…

Pride & Prejudice
This movie is an entire vibe. The cinematography was outstanding. Naturally the story has been done several times. I happen to own at least three or four different versions. This is the version I could watch on a loop. It never fails to put me in my romantic feels.

Coming To America
This movie is a classic. I randomly yell SEXUAL CHOCOLATE at least a few times a week. It is a great romantic comedy.

Trading Places
Another Eddie Murphy classic. It has a few problematic moments like most things from the 80s. But I still love it.

Annie
As a child, I watched this movie on repeat. As an adult, I could probably still watch it on repeat. A forever favorite.

Polly
I enjoyed this movie so much when it first came out that I had to do whatever I could to own it on DVD. I enjoy it as much as an adult as I did when I first saw it.

Harlem Nights
This movie is full of laughs. Some of the funniest moments I have ever had the privilege to watch happened in this movie. The lineup of comedians was insane. If I’m deeply depressed, this movie will provide much needed laugh therapy.

Black Panther
I saw this movie five times in theaters. It is my favorite Marvel movie. I miss Chadwick Boseman so much. He was outstanding in this role. I also don’t mind looking at Winston Duke either.

Purple Rain
Prince was a genius. This movie was wonderful. I sing along to every song.

Grease
This is another movie from my childhood that I had on repeat. I went to see it when they showed it in our local theater a few years ago and had a great time singing along with a theater full of fellow fans.

The Five Heartbeats
This movie brings me joy. Another movie where I sing along with all the songs. I remember when I first saw it I thought that they were a real group.

I own over 1,000 DVDs. These are just ten that I would pick to take with me on a deserted island.
