Another wonderful reading month. Got to quite a few really good books. All but one of the books I read this month were on audio. Wrote several reviews. Read a few new-to-me authors.
Ties That Bind by Brenda Jackson
This book was great back story to a series that I had already read. I can’t for the life of me remember what series it was, but I was very excited to see familiar characters in this book. This was a more recent historical that ended up as a contemporary. It started in the 60s and 70s. I absolutely adore Brenda Jackson and this book did not disappoint.
Falling For A Rose Series by Stephanie Nicole Norris
Safe With Me
Enough
Only If You Dare
I can’t remember why I started this series. It might have been the length of the books. Whatever the reason, I’m glad that I did. I am enjoying the Rose family so far.
Being Hospitable by Meka James
This was a cute little story. I enjoyed it a lot. Best-friend’s little sister. Sapphic. Short and to the point.
Merry & Bright by Mia Heintzelman
This was a cute little story about a pop star and her rideshare driver. I loved how they got married on a whim. That is one of my favorite tropes. I loved everything about this story.
Las Leonas Series by Adriana Herrera
A Caribbean Heiress in Paris
An Island Princess Starts A Scandal
A Tropical Rebel Gets The Duke
Historical Afro-Caribbean romance series that was an absolute delight. Three friends on a trip to Paris. They each find love when they weren’t even looking for it. Lots of drama in each of these stories.
Frenemies With Benefits by Synithia Williams
Got to go back to Peachtree Cove with this story. These two clearly had chemistry in an earlier story and I was glad that I got to see them get together. They both had a lot of issues to deal with. I loved how they were there for each other through it all.
Can’t Help Faking In Love by Swati Hegde
I enjoyed Harsha and Veer’s story a lot. She is a photographer and he is her favorite barista. She pays him to pretend to be her boyfriend. What could possibly go wrong?
Brides of Lowcountry Series by Preslaysa Williams
A Lowcountry Bride
A Sweet Lowcountry Proposal
A Wedding In The Lowcountry
These stories can actually be read out of order, but I wasn’t sure so I read all but the short novella. I plan on getting to the novella because I enjoyed this series a lot.
So Many Beginnings by Bethany C Morrow
This book was absolutely delightful! I loved the reimagining of Little Women so much. It addressed all my issues with the original story perfectly. Outstanding story.
One-Night Crush by Mia Heintzelman
The Fortemani Series has been so good. This is the fourth child, Marcello’s story. This is older woman/younger man. Holly used to babysit him when he was younger. He has practically had a crush on her his entire life.
Break Point by Yahrah St. John
The Six Gems Series is another series that I have enjoyed a lot. This is Teagan’s story. She is the final Gem to find love.
Not including links this month. Each book should be available at your favorite eBook retailer. Almost all of them are available in audio. I got a couple of them from the library using Hoopla or Libby. I posted reviews for a few of them on this site.
March was supposed to be the month that I catch up on all the reviews that I need to write. That’ll require me to read more books with my eyes instead of my ears. I’m hoping that I can get that done. I have a lot of wonderful books waiting for me in my TBR.
