Time Loops & Meet Cutes by Jackie Lau

Noelle gets some dumplings one night after work and the next thing she knows she is living the same day over and over again. After a few repeats, she finds someone who is also in the same time loop. They become friends and try to find a way out of the mess they found themselves in.

She met Cam the very first time she did that particular day and decided to see if kissing him would change her situation. Then she began to enjoy practicing how to start a relationship with him. After a while she tells him what is going on and he believes her even though he doesn’t remember anything when she repeats the day again.

This story was really unique. I enjoyed it a lot. Watching Noelle and Cam start their love story over and over again was fun. Then, when she gets out of the loop and realizes that she missed several months of her life it made perfect sense that the author made it happen that way instead of her just waking up and it being the day after the one she had been repeating. It was as if she was an alternate version of herself. I was very glad she found Cam again. And I was glad that she and her friend got down to the bottom of what happened to them.
