July 2025 Reading Recap

This was a pitiful month when it comes to number of books I read. On the bright side, every book I read was wonderful. That kinda makes up for the low numbers.

The Love Simulation by Etta Easton
An assistant principal and one of her teachers on a team to try and win money for the school by doing a Mars simulation.

Zyla & Kai by Kristina Forest
Two teenagers fall in love. I really enjoyed the way this story was told. It was different from what I have experienced before.

The Love Script by Toni Shiloh
Fake dating a movie star. What could go right?

Love Spells Trouble by Nia Davenport
Two teenage witches fake dating.

The Marriage Monitoring Aunties’ Association by Ola Awonubi
She thinks love is not in the cards for her. He comes along and proves otherwise.

The Payback by Kashana Cauley
A group of mall employees try to take down the student loan people to avoid being beat up by the Debt Police.

Thirst Trap by Turtleberry
My story about two sorors who fall for each other. I was doing a reread as I work on a sequel story.

Butterflies In Love by Turtleberry
My 40th book! This is a tale of four young women, who happen to be line sisters, and how they find love.

Pugs and Kisses by Farrah Rochon
This book was so stinking cute. I am loving this series and can’t wait for the next book.

Y’all, I really hope to read more books in August. I just can’t make any promises because I am doing a whole lot of writing. Fingers crossed I can get some good ones in. 🤞🏾
