Taste the Love by Karelia Stetz-Waters and Fay Stetz-Waters

Kia and Sullivan were rivals in cooking school. Kia came out on top at graduation. When everyone seemed to think that she hated Sullivan, she kissed her. After graduation, they spent the evening together cooking and they kissed again. Then they went their separate ways.

Years later, Kia shows up at a community organization meeting to buy a greenspace to create a home for several food trucks. The only problem is that Sullivan was trying to buy the greenspace to protect the environment. Then a food chain steps in and decides that they want to buy the land out from under both Kia and Sullivan.

Kia comes up with the idea that she and Sullivan should get married because Sullivan gets first rights to buy the land. She just doesn’t have the money. Kia has the money but doesn’t have first rights. It takes convincing from Kia and Sullivan’s friends, but Sullivan finally agrees. But she expects the marriage to end once Kia buys the land and she doesn’t want anything to do with Kia.

Then the food chain decides to sue. Now Kia and Sullivan have to move in together and show that their marriage is real. Spending more time together allows their feelings for each other to really shine. Kia had always had a thing for Sullivan. Sullivan was always captivated by Kia.

I enjoyed this book. I liked watching these two characters really fall for each other. It was a good story.
