Kendra came back home for the opening of her brother’s restaurant. She had an idea of her own that she wanted to pursue. From the moment she hugged him when she showed up to help them set up, her brother’s best friend BJ was also on her mind. He offered to help her with finding a building for the supper club she wanted to open up.
He clearly has a thing for her but he has his reasons for not pursuing it. It frustrates Kendra but she tries to accept it. Then they get drunk and have a wild night together. Things go from there and they end up in a situationship. But he still has his reasons for not getting serious. Finally, she decides to end things and move out of town to pursue her dream.
This book was really good. Very well done older brother’s best friend story. I enjoyed it a lot.
