Calling All Blessings by Beverly Jenkins

When I tell y’all that I love this series so much! Reading about the residents of Henry Adams has brought me so much joy.

In this installment, you get to see things from the perspective of Bernadine, Tamar, and Devon. Bernie is the town owner. Tamar July is the town matriarch. Devon is one of the adopted kids that were brought to the town by Bernie.

Tamar is having dreams about her disaster of a wedding day. She has some things that she needs to let go of. When a reminder of the past comes to town, she is faced with things she would much rather forget.

Devon is trying to figure out who he is and who he wants to be. He has struggled a lot since losing his grandmother. He has gone through a lot of growing pains during the series and continues to go through them in this book.

Unfortunately, this was the final book in the series. I am very sad to see it go. I have grown to love each and every one of these characters. I was very pleased with how everything was wrapped up in this book.

One thing I really love about this series is how it ties to the July family. If you are an avid Ms. Bev reader you know that family pops up quite a bit in her historical romances.

This was of course a five star read and I recommend that everyone who loves small town drama with a hint of romance should read this series.
