December 2024 Reading Recap

This was a very busy month for me so I didn’t get to read as many books as I wanted. In fact, this month was full of audiobooks. I am pleased to say that I enjoyed each and every one of them.

How To Find A Princess by Alyssa Cole
This was the final book in a series that was kinda linked to another series. I loved every book in both series and this book was no different. This was a Sapphic love story and it had a bit of a twist to it that I really enjoyed.

A Lakeside Reunion by C. Chilove
I picked up this book because I’m supposed to review the second book in this series. Reese and Duncan had a good second chance romance. I enjoyed this book a lot and hope that I can get to the second book soon.

The Grayson Family Series by Beverly Jenkins
Vivid
Jewel
This pair of books was outstanding. Nate and Eli Grayson were cousins who had a strained relationship. These were the tales of both of them finding their forever love.

Midnight by Beverly Jenkins
Faith and Nicholas had an amazing story set during the beginning of the Revolutionary War. I really enjoyed this book.

Bainbridge House Series by Rochelle Alers
A New Foundation
Christmas At The Chateau
This was a good series. I thought there were only two book and just discovered there are three so I hope to get to that third book soon.

Bollywood Series by Sonali Dev
A Bollywood Affair
The Bollywood Bride
A Change of Heart
A Distant Heart
I absolutely love Desi romance and these books really hit the spot. There was also a bit of suspense with a few of these stories. Very well done series.

Mr. and Mrs. Christmas by Michelle Stimpson
Holiday fake dating romance for the win! This was such a cute story. I enjoyed it a lot.

MotherStruck! by Staceyann Chin
This was my nonfiction/nonromance selection for the month. This was a very interesting short memoir.

Night Song by Beverly Jenkins
I can’t believe this was Ms. Bev’s first book. It was amazing. Cara Lee and Chase had such a wonderful love story set in Henry Adams, Kansas during Reconstruction. He was a Buffalo Soldier and she was a school teacher. I enjoyed this book so much!

It was a light month in number, but I still met my reading goal for the year. Hoping to get to more wonderful books in the new year!
