Journey to 50 – Spotlight – These Women Book 3

As previously mentioned, I wrote these three books in one sitting. It took me about seven months to write 1200 pages. Wrapping up this story was very difficult. I wanted to make sure that I showed the growth of each of my characters and that they each got their happily ever after. Readers needed to know what happened with Marie. Did Mina and DJ get together? How were things going with Naomi and Davis? Does Bianca get her happily ever after?

I was sad to end this series. These characters are like members of my family. I know I’m not supposed to have a favorite book, but this is high on the list of ones I really want readers to read in order to get a feel for my writing.

I made a lot of tough decisions while writing the end of this book. I wrote the story that the characters told me. But a few years later, and a lot of feedback from readers, caused me to start wondering what would happen if I made different decisions. That led me to writing an alternative timeline story. It started during a period of writer’s block. If no other characters would talk to me, those Davis women would talk to me. It was just something I was using as a writing exercise. It wasn’t supposed to see the light of day.

Several more years later, I picked it back up and decided to share it with my Patreon members. It is called the These Women Temporal Paradox Edition. It is a Patreon exclusive that will not be published for a wider audience.
