Book 26 is a novella telling Shayla’s story. She just turned 40 and has lost her job. On top of that, a very memorable one night stand happens to be on the team that took over the company she no longer works for. Shayla has to figure out what she wants to do with her life, and if she is going to give Wayne a chance.
I was inspired to write this book because I wanted to write a book about someone closer to my age and some of the things that they deal with. Although I really enjoy writing about young love, I also enjoy slightly older characters with plenty of lived experience.
