The funny thing about book 23 is that I didn’t know that Timber Mills was going to be a thing until I was almost finished writing this book. The town and the characters started to come to life in a way that couldn’t be contained by this one story.
Billie moved to town and was starting a new journey in her life by opening a boutique. Jeff was already in town and owned the carry out down the block. Billie’s story was front and center in this book, but the town had a life of its own.
I remember sitting at the bar of a restaurant with my sister and mapping out what this town needed and realized that it was going to take several books to get this done.
I am more than satisfied with Billie and Jeff’s story. They were great characters to write.
