In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Me Time.”
So I sat here and thought about what Saturday morning “Me Time” would look like. I haven’t really had a chance to experience it much.
I like to watch movies, listen to music, and chill. I also like to read or write. I like creating. All are things I would enjoy doing on a Saturday morning.
Sometimes I think it is a good time to turn on some music and clean the house. The right playlist can work wonders on whatever task you have to do.
I can really do all of those things now. I watch kids on Saturday mornings. They are getting older but argue and fight when left to their own devices. I can enjoy little spurts of relaxation here and there.
I guess I haven’t been motivated to do much lately.
One day I hope to be able to get up and go for walks or hikes. Take pictures. Go to museums or on scenic drives.
Maybe I will be able to focus long enough to be able to write or work on my other creative projects.
Until then I guess I will just lounge in my bed and stare at social media until forced to be productive.
