Let me start off by saying this book was a pleasant surprise. DL White is one of my favs and I wasn’t sure when to expect something new from her.
This book did not disappoint.
Taj Wright, aka Nurse Dude, was an amazingly layered character.
As was Miss Girard… also known as Evonne. Phew… both of their backstories sat perfectly surrounding the love story that bloomed quickly.
The flow was great. I liked how it wasn’t rushed but there wasn’t any beating around the bush either. There was a nice dose of conflict mixed in.
I don’t want to give too much away because this is a must-read. I enjoyed it so much it wins my Hercules Hercules award.
Get a copy and check out this book. You’ll thank me later. It was super cute!
