So, it was another slow reading month. Life just keeps on lifing and I am trying hard to keep carving out time to enjoy a book. I have been able to keep up with my daily reading and I truly think it is helping to keep me sane.
Here are the books I enjoyed in May:
Unexpected Pass by A. Blossom
This was an audiobook that I got from Net Galley. My review is posted on this site. Enjoyed this book and definitely want to check out more from this author.
The Christmas Auction by Te Russ
A cute and spicy holiday romance. This was a really quick read.
Strap & Swoon by Karmen Lee
Another quick read. This was a Valentine’s Day holiday read. Also really spicy.
A Little Holiday Fling by Farah Heron
Another book that I got from Net Galley. My review is also posted on this site. This was just enough spice for me. I enjoyed this book a whole lot.
Love Bites and Blooms by Bailey West
Another Valentine’s Day holiday read. They ended up snowed in together. This book was really good. A quick read.
Springs & Straps by Karmen Lee
A quick read. I don’t remember a holiday being mentioned but that didn’t take anything away from how good this short book was.
I got to more books this month than the month before, but still felt like I was reading really slowly. I am on track with my reading goal but was hoping to surpass it. I have a ton of books I need to review, several books in my KU borrows, and a TBR that is threatening to crush me. Let’s see what kind of dent I can make into all of that in June.
