A Little Holiday Fling by Farah Heron

I wanted a bit of holiday cheer and this book gave it to me. It was absolutely delightful.

Ruby loved Christmas. Rashid didn’t understand how a Muslim Desi would love a holiday not for them. From the moment they met, Ruby saw him as being a bit of a Scrooge who hated her. Then, fate brought them together again. She was planning on moving to London and trying to get into the hotel business. His family happened to be in the hotel business. Ruby made a deal with him in an effort to change his opinion of her so that he would give a good recommendation of her to his parents.

That deal turned into a fling when she realized that he didn’t actually hate her. He was supposed to be going back to his home on the other side of Canada. She was supposed to be moving to London. Their fling had an end date. Until it didn’t.

This book was so wonderful. There was so much Christmas joy. There was a lot of romance. It had the perfect amount of spice for me. I didn’t even mind the third act breakup.
