Hey everyone! Happy Friday!!!
I have been having a rough time lately and I thought it would be nice to make a celebratory Friday post.
Let’s start off with an awesome turtle picture.
That is the turtle on a shirt that my sister got me from Otakon several years ago. I love it!
It is also #FridayReads day so I will let you know that I am getting ready to start Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez. I was going to read Balm but then decided to start with the book she wrote before it. Not sure if they are tied together but I guess I will find out soon. LOL.
Of course, I will let you know what I think when I am finished.
In other news…
I still haven’t written a thing. Writers block is not really the problem. It is more stress and anxiety kicking my ass. I am continuing to try and work through it. Feel free to send some positive vibes my way.
Also trying to scrounge up the means to do a second year at the Book Festival. I had fun last year and really want to get out there again.
All in all, I am praying for inspiration, motivation, relaxation, and a miracle or two.
