Ms. Berry’s Book Review – The Worst Best Man

I got an advance copy of this book from Net Galley and I was excited. I heard a little about the book on Twitter.

This was a solid four star read.

I enjoyed the characters. Lina was an interesting character. She tried to keep this solid outer shell and not show too much emotion. Even with the story opening up at a point where you think there should be a ton of emotion.

Max was another interesting character. He seemed to be in perpetual competition with his older brother.

The two of them end up having to work together, despite their past, and it makes for some funny moments. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow.

I also enjoyed all the tidbits about Brazilian culture. That was a nice extra to the book.
