April 2026 Reading Recap

Another month of reading in the books! LOL 😆🤣😂

Spent most of the month on one book, but it was a good book. I had a few books miss the mark so they got DNF’d. Here’s what I finished:

Holiday Heat by Beverly Jenkins
Ms. Bev never lets me down. I really enjoyed this book. To me, it was the perfect novella.

Don’t Tell Me How It Ends by Adrienne Thurman
Spent most of the month enjoying this book. It was really good. I was invested from the first few pages all the way to the happy ending.

My Snowy Valentine by Turtleberry
I was reading this for research. Plan on revisiting these characters and needed to get back in Danyel’s head.

Hoping to not read so slowly going forward. Some days I’m only getting in a few pages to a chapter. I am still reading everyday though so I am proud of that. Gonna venture back into enjoying audiobooks in May. Hopefully that speeds me up.
