I love a good sports romance so when I saw this audiobook available on Net Galley I was quick to request it.
Falcon was Eli’s older brother’s best friend and teammate. For that very reason, they both knew that a relationship couldn’t happen. Then both of them got some very bad press and needed to do some damage control. Eli was caught on video beating her best friend’s ass for sleeping with her boyfriend. Falcon had a one night stand turn bad when the girl violated the NDA and released a sex tape of the two of them. The publicist that Falcon and Eli shared decided that the two needed to have a fake relationship in order to improve their images.
From the moment the agreement was made it was very clear that the feelings weren’t fake on either of their parts. Falcon did not play about Eli and Eli was very rapidly falling in love with him. They went through the motions of the fake relationship but they also did stuff as a couple that had nothing to do with their public image.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It was short but everything was right there. I enjoyed watching the two of them fall madly in love with each other and I really enjoyed them figuring out that they couldn’t live with out one another. When I say that Falcon didn’t play about Eli, that man was ready to turn his world upside down in order to be with her. He chose to open his heart to her and had no intentions of letting her go.
This was definitely a five star read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
